We are alumni, teachers, and current members who care deeply about the blue and gold and the future of American agriculture. Many of us credit our personal and professional success to the values and skills we learned in the FFA.

But in recent years, we’ve watched with growing concern as the FFA has drifted from its core mission—preparing young Americans to lead in the agricultural industry so that it prospers for America’s well-being and for future generations.

Every FFA member, past and present, has stood and affirmed the words of the creed’s final paragraph: “I believe that American agriculture can and will hold true to the best traditions of our national life and that I can exert an influence in my home and community which will stand solid for my part in that inspiring task.”
